CA Jail Outreach empowers individuals and families impacted by the justice system through our 1-4-4 Growth Journey Roadmap: 1 organization, 4 Core Growth Programs (Men, Women, Families, Veterans), and 4 foundational Growth Support Pillars. Through spiritual growth, personal empowerment, family well-being, and community engagement, we walk alongside each person on their journey toward a life of purpose, hope, and renewed possibility.

On our map, blue pins indicate email and mail contacts, Orange Pins represent phone and video calls connecting inmates and family members, and Yellow Pins indicate those who reached out through our website chat. We’re excited to see so many taking steps forward and engaging with us on their growth journey!

Growth Journey: A Path to Transformation

CA Jail Outreach, through its Growth Pathways initiative, is guided by the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and that every life holds immeasurable value. Our purpose, reflected in the 1-4-4 Growth Journey Roadmap—which includes 1 organization, 4 Core Growth Programs (Men, Women, Families, Veterans), and 4 Growth Support Pillars—is to offer hope, healing, and practical support to individuals and families affected by the justice system.

Our impact is realized through these four Core Growth Programs—specialized initiatives for Men, Women, Families, and Veterans. Each program is carefully designed to meet the distinct needs of those we serve, offering personalized guidance and meaningful assistance.

At the foundation of all we do are these four essential Growth Support Pillars. These pillars are activated through a range of innovative programs and resources, ensuring that our support is both comprehensive and transformative.

Imagine: one in three American adults. That's nearly 70 million lives wrestling with the shadow of a past record, yearning for a fresh start. Each year, over 600,000 individuals step out from behind walls, only to confront a devastating "second prison" – a maze of over 44,000 restrictions and a heavy stigma that slams doors on jobs, homes, and their chance to truly belong.

Journey with Us: From Inside Walls to Open Doors of Hope and Second Chances. We walk alongside individuals impacted by the justice system and their families, offering steadfast hope and tangible support every step of the way—from incarceration through reintegration. Our volunteers are essential partners in this journey, helping to nurture hope, equip for new possibilities, and champion the second chances that transform lives and strengthen our community.

WE CAN EFFECTIVELY MANAGE IMPAIRMENT

About 20,000 Deaf individuals are incarcerated, facing communication barriers. We provide a support person for families and inmates to help navigate these challenges.
