CA Jail Outreach: Igniting Transformation
Through Faith and Growth
CA Jail Outreach is an interdenominational, nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting change for individuals and families affected by the justice system. Grounded in the belief that every person deserves a second chance, our mission, based on Isaiah 61:1-4 (KJV), is to share God's love and hope, comfort the brokenhearted, and help people rebuild purposeful lives.
Our premier program, Camp Growth, exemplifies our commitment to biblical principles by providing both spiritual and practical guidance for restoration and ongoing success. Although we are not a church, we reflect God’s love by upholding core values such as honoring human dignity and striving to glorify God in everything we do, ensuring every person we serve is met with integrity and compassion.
As a values-driven organization, we are guided by timeless biblical principles that inspire our leadership and work ethic. We emphasize hard work, accountability, respect for authority, and fairness (Ephesians 6:5-9; Proverbs 10:4; Colossians 3:23; Proverbs 16:3, KJV), always treating others with dignity and integrity.
The paragraph below focuses specifically on the mission and execution of the Camp Growth program.
The Camp Growth Program
Camp Growth, a vital program under the leadership of CA Jail Outreach, is dedicated to the holistic spiritual and personal restoration of those impacted by the justice system. We aim to see individuals regenerated by the Holy Spirit and encourage their public commitment through Baptism. Fundamentally, Camp Growth exists to actively Show The Love of God by building authentic relationships and upholding our Core Value of Honoring Human Dignity. Through focused teachings and intentional service, we equip participants to break cycles of condemnation and enter a life of hope, purpose, and lasting positive change.

The Nature of God and Scripture
The Holy Scriptures (The Word of The Lord)
The Holy Scriptures (Bible), as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We must submit to the Bible as God’s authoritative, divine, and inspired Word in every aspect of our belief and behavior.
2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV): "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
1 Peter 1:24-25 (KJV): "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."
THE TRINITY
We firmly believe in one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), who are equal in every divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
Matthew 28:19 (KJV): "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
2 Corinthians 13:14 (KJV): "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."
GOD THE FATHER
We wholeheartedly believe in God, the Father, an infinite personal spirit perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We firmly believe that He mercifully concerns Himself in the affairs of men, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and spiritual death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Psalms 90:2 (KJV): "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
John 3:16 (KJV): "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
JESUS CHRIST
We have unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We firmly believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.
John 1:1 (KJV): "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV): "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
HOLY SPIRIT
We are fully convinced in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We wholeheartedly believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
John 14:26 (KJV): "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
Acts 1:8 (KJV): "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Key Pillars of Our Faith
I. Salvation
We are fully confident in our belief that all individuals are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, resulting in a life fully submitted to God's will.
John 3:16 (KJV): "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Romans 10:9 (KJV): "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
II. Baptism
We have unshakable faith in the local church, comprising believers in Jesus Christ who are baptized upon a credible profession of faith. We firmly believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. Water baptism is an act of obedience, an outward declaration of the inward reality of salvation, symbolizing identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, and the commitment to walk in newness of life.
Matthew 28:19 (KJV): "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
Romans 6:4 (KJV): "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
III. Plant a Seed
We recognize the commission to evangelize the world, and our role as a ministry is to diligently plant the seed of the Gospel in the hearts of others. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for service and witnessing, enabling us to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and live as His servants. Our focus is on bringing spiritual life and restoration, akin to planting "great oaks" for God’s glory.
Mark 16:15 (KJV): "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
I Corinthians 3:6 (KJV): "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase."
IV. Show The Love of God
We are dedicated to demonstrating the love of God through our Core Values, especially Honoring Human Dignity (Matthew 25:35-36, KJV) and Always doing what is right (I Peter 3:17, KJV). We strive to treat all people with dignity and integrity, reflecting Christ's compassion in our actions and work ethic (Colossians 3:23, KJV), as demonstrated by the love that God showed in giving His Son.
I John 4:8 (KJV): "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
Matthew 25:40 (KJV): "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
The CEO and Founder's Statement
Our goal is to provide hope and a second chance, helping people get back on the Growth Journey or, for some, beginning their Renewed Growth. This means we uphold the Faith Statement throughout all our organizations and programs.
While we are not a church, we are a vital part of the ecosystem designed to help everyone. That said, we do not teach or debate doctrine. That critical work must be done within their local church. Our job is to guide individuals through the pillars of faith and help them find a Local Church that will meet their needs and assist them in moving into a better life.
➡️ Providing Hope and Second Chances: Romans 15:13 (KJV): "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV): "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
➡️ The Importance of Local Church and Community: Hebrews 10:25 (KJV): "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Acts 2:42 (KJV): "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."
➡️ Focusing on the Core Mission (Growth and Outreach): Colossians 3:23 (KJV): "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;" Mark 16:15 (KJV): "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Closing Statement: Embracing the Journey: We are committed to every individual's journey toward spiritual and personal growth and restoration. Our ministry stands ready to serve those seeking a new path, grounded in unwavering faith and practical support. By adhering to these core beliefs, we aim to be a light and a foundation for renewed growth in Christ.
"A life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away, reminding us we are truly alive in Christ." - David Avritt (Founder and CEO)
